Once a referral is made and case agreed, a full parent/guardian interview will take place to understand the child’s history, family details, strengths and challenges of the child, and what are the goals to be achieved through play therapy.

A schedule would be agreed upon for the client to attend on a weekly basis. Any planned holiday or time off should be communicated as early as possible so it can be built into the schedule.

Review session with parent/legal guardian will take place after the 6th or 7th session.
