Parent-Child Attachment Play

Parent-Child Attachment Play (PCAP) is a gentle play-based approach to help children aged 3 to 15+, in their mental and emotional development. It is designed to allow parents to be the agent of change in the process and as a result, improve parent-child attachment quality and relationships in the long term.

This highly-regarded training is set within the very new and groundbreaking research into what we now know about how parents can change and how secure attachment is operationalised in the earliest relationship. It represents an ideal opportunity to bring positive relationship change directly into the family home by empowering parents and carers as change agents.

I will share and support parents through THREE main skills which they can take away.

Play and creating mini play kit

Containment (how to apply rules and keep them consistently)

Head, Heart, Hands (reflective skills to use in session)

These skills will be shared in a gentle and playful way. Parents will practice at home and eventually roll out the skills to other areas of their family lives.

If you are considering making a change and taking charge in improving your parent-child relationships, please contact me via email/phone or fill in the contact form on this website.

Initial 30 minutes consultation session is free.
